Villa Cerere is located in the countryside of the municipality of Marsciano, and it boasts a strategic position to visit all the towns and villages of the green Umbrian valley. About 3-5 km away you can find a grocery store, a pharmacy, a small supermarket and a restaurant. Umbria is the region that gave birth to Saint Francis of Assisi and one of the most deeply spiritual itineraries is undoubtedly the visit to the places linked to the monk such as Gubbio and Assisi. In particular we suggest to visit the spectacular frescoes by Giotto about Saint Francis' life, which are a milestone in the Art History, inside the Upper Basilica in Assisi (reachable in just 30 minutes by car). At about 27 km there is the beautiful Perugia, the regional capital. Perugia is a city of art, rich in monuments which fortunately have come down to us from ancient times, as recalled by the numerous findings. This city hosts an important international university and offers a vibrant nightlife with its several bars and restaurants. Do not miss in October the chocolate festival that attracts visitors from all over Europe. Moreover, every July you can attend the Umbria Jazz Festival, one of the most important Italian and International Jazz music festivals. Also in Perugia we suggest to visit the National Gallery of Umbria and the National Archaeological Museum of Umbria. On the ground floor you will find: an event room (capable of hosting 80/100 people) with bar and 2 toilets (one of which for disabled people), wine bar, professional kitchen and toilet. Following is a private spa, equipped with Jacuzzi, Turkish bath, Finnish sauna, emotional shower, aromatherapy, chromotherapy, herbal tea room, relaxation area and service bathroom. The first floor, which can be accessed from both the internal lift and the external staircase, consists of: a bathroom for disabled people (with shower) near the entrance; a suite with 2 double bedrooms (of which one with ensuite bathroom with shower), a living room with kitchenette and double sofa bed, and a bathroom with shower.
