Dolceacqua is a few kilometers inland from the coast, it is a charming village with winding medieval streets that lead to the castle. In the valley lies the beautiful bridge painted by Monet. The house is located about 10 minutes by car from the village.
The area is ideal if you like sun and beach (Ventimiglia, Bordighera, Vallecrosia, Sanremo), but also if you want to experience the real Italian culture in the villages a little more in the interior.
