La Strittula is a lovely old house with a characteristic star vault, ia very welcoming, and located in the heart of Specchia, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. It is a 2-minute walk from the Martinucci pastry shop, where you can taste a delicious freshly baked hot pastries, and 2 minutes from the Piazza del Popolo, with its beautiful castle and the imposing bell tower that rises high in the sky. The house is divided into two floors, the upper one with a double bedroom and bathroom. The ground floor has a large living area in which to relax and read a book after a hot day at the beach, or where to enjoy a drink after a hearty fish dinner. For those looking for a holiday in the tranquility of the Borgo and close to the Salento coast, La Strittula and Borgo di Specchia are the best choice.
La Strittula is composed of two floors. The upper one features a spacious and bright bedroom with a wardrobe, chest of drawers and all the space needed to store your personal effects, including suitcases. The room has a large window with a balcony, a full-length mirror and a set of towels.
The bathroom with a window, consists of a shower cabin and complete sanitary fixtures, and is equipped with a hairdryer, Welcome kit with shampoo, conditioner and shower bath.
The ground floor consists of a large living area, fireplace, dining table, TV, Wi-fi connection and library with a wide choice of books in Italian and English to be read at home or in a sea view bar. This area is also equipped with a sofa with the function of a comfortable sofa bed, which if necessary can accommodate two more people without sacrificing their comfort.
The kitchenette is equipped with everything necessary, such as a stove, fridge / freezer, oven and of course a complete set of pots, pans, dishes and cutlery.
The entrance to the house, as it is on the ground floor, is convenient and easily accessible. To access from the living area to the sleeping area there is a wooden staircase with a few steps, which you can see from the attached photos.

For the visit of Specchia alone, private transport is not necessary as the accommodation is located right in the heart of the village, a stone's throw from the main attractions and in the heart of the historic center. To visit other places nearby it is advisable to have private transport.
