Summary: We would not recommend staying here. We were shocked with our experience given the many great reviews. When we got there, there were little ants all over the apartment, dirty dishes left on the counter/in the sink and the shower was spraying water from the top of the shower head so we had to use the tub. The hosts were not very understanding about the issue, insisting that we did not know how to use the shower. The balcony was also pretty messy, a lot of plants which we imagine is where the ants were coming from. We may have been able to overlook some of these things if the location was more ideal. But we were still about an hour out of the city center. Overall, it got the job done for the short stay we had in Milan but it was certainly not the most comfortable stay we’ve had.
