Summary: Insulae Resort's pool, serviced by great bar staff, is the perfect place to completely relax before hitting up beautiful Cefalu for an afternoon stroll or evening meal. It's a 10-minute drive to the centre of Cefalu so you'll need a car or taxi if you're planning to come back late - the hotel's minibus service ends in the early evening. While there is access to the sea 100 metres away, it's a very rocky beach. A second walkable beach option, 400 metres away, is serviced by another resort and was very loud (thumping music). It's worth noting that trains do pass by close to the hotel and there's a concrete factory close by that also produces background noise.
