Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Quiet location right on the lake with a great view and the constant sound of water lapping. Access to a little pebbly beach. Spacious and well-equipped, including a much-appreciated washing machine. Only a 15 minute walk into Varenna (which was quite crowded at times). Very helpful host.

Negative: The beds were a little hard for our liking but might suit others who prefer a matttess on the firm side.
