Summary: We are really happy that we found this wonderful B&B, which is on a farm. The rooms are very nicely restored and there is also a pool in the garden. Antonio and his family are very friendly and helpful. We were also served dinner both nights, although this is not announced in the presentation of the B&B.
Antonio also escorted us to the nearby Grotte Castelcivita.
We highley recommend this B&B.

Summary: If you want a true Italian family experience then a stay at BnB La Mortella is the answer. We considered staying in Paestum to be close to the great temples but knowing that La Mortella was only 20 minutes away convinced us to try something different during our Italia tour. The BnB was a bit hard to find but once we were there it was worth seeking. Antonio and his family also work the land with citrus and olive groves dominating the landscape. They also produce olive oil for their business. Each night we were treated to a dinner at a reasonable price that is unparalleled at any restaurant we have been to. Breakfast that was included was abundant with local fruits, breads, jams and for the daring like us goat's milk. The rooms were spacious and clean with great views of local farmland over the hills. The only frustrating part of this serene experience was the WiFi connection but the BnB wired PC was a good substitute.

Summary: We recently enjoyed a 3 night stay at La Mortella and had a great time. The owner and family were more than hospitable and the meals were amazing. Carmine(the older gentleman) even spent one day with us helping us navigate the roads and find the friends and relatives that we needed to visit. He even accompanied us on a great trip to the Caves of Civitavecchia! We will keep our memories of this establishment for a long time!
