Beautifully situated and lovingly furnished holiday flat for three to four people on the cape of Palinuro, one of the most popular seaside resorts on the Mythological Coast. The hosts Antonella and Massimo live in the main building. For them, the most important criterion is the well-being of their guests. The holiday flat is on the ground floor and has direct access to the garden. You will enjoy the marvellous view. Large windows allow you to enjoy the light, sun and seascape. 100 square metres of space. A large L-shaped room, open-plan with living area with couch, armchairs, table, wood-burning stove, reading corner and floor lamp on one side and eat-in kitchen at the other end, exit to the garden.
Bedroom with double bed (extra bed available if required), bathroom with shower/toilet/bidet and washing machine. Palinuro is a snorkelling and bathing paradise with grottos, many beaches in small bays and a hiking paradise in the hinterland. Palinuro has been a very popular holiday paradise for Italians since the 1960s, but it is only heavily frequented in August. The rest of the year is rather quiet. Then you can really enjoy the marvellous small and often kilometre-long sandy beaches. Your domicile is located above Palinuro. The view is breathtaking. The view over the bay of Velia, the hinterland and beyond is unique. You can reach the beach on foot in five minutes. The village of Palinuro or the nearby harbour are a ten-minute walk away. The most famous is the "Grotta Azzurra", others are Grotta del sangue, Grotta del Monaco, Grotta delle ossa...and a little further on...lies the rock ...il coniglio...a small island. The steep cliffs up to 100 metres above the sea are particularly beautiful and spectacular. In summer, speedboats depart from the harbour to Salerno, Amalfi, Positano, Capri, Napoli and Bacoli.... in the morning and return in the evening!
Also of interest are the ancient ruins of San Severino, Roccagloriosa and its museum, or Bosco...where Jose Ortega lived as a friend and pupil of Pablo Picasso...these towns are not far from Palinuro inland...but also the marvellous coastline to the south...and its bays and beaches are always a worthwhile destination.
The kitchen is well equipped with a gas cooker (4 rings), large fridge with freezer compartment, crockery, pots, cutlery and utensils.
There is a spacious bedroom with double bed (extra bed if required), chest of drawers, wardrobe and the bathroom is equipped with shower/toilet/bidet and washing machine. The offer also includes a very large garden with beautiful old trees.
The host family can also prepare meals on request. There is the possibility to cook the local regional cuisine with Antonella.... a small cookery course! Details negotiable!

From the harbour (yacht and fishing harbour) you can hire boats or go on day trips. From June to September you can also go directly to: Salerno, Amalfi, Positano and Capri.
