The holiday house is on a hill outside the town, which affords a wonderful view of Carloforte, the saltmines, Calasetta bay on the opposite peninsula Sant'Antioco and the coast of Sardinia.
The house is situated on a Mediterranean scrub land. For relaxation a living space of five hammocks under the Aleppo pines. Guests can park under the trees. Outside you will find a gazebo, stone tables, a wood-burning oven and barbecue and benches, set in a panoramic area. There is also a frescoed bathroom with two hot water showers.
The villa is on two floors. The ground floor has a big living room with sofas (seating about 10 people), a fireplace, a flatscreen TV and Internet access. Next to it there is a bedroom with two single beds (80 x 190cm), which can be joined together as a double bed, a wall cupboard and access to the terrace. There is another little bedroom with two single beds (80 x 190cm) that can be joined together as a double bed, a wall cupboard and a window. Next to the bedrooms there is a bathroom with a WC, bidet, shower and washbasin. You go through the living room to the kitchen, equipped with a fridge with a freezer compartment, a gas stove, oven, microwave, coffee machine, double sink and hanging cupboards with crockery, glasses and cutlery. Stairs lead from the living room to the gallery, with a washing machine, a single bed (80x190 cm) and access to a bathroom. Furthermore there is an attic room with three single beds (80 x 190 cm), which can be combined as desired, a wall cupboard and two windows. The gallery provides also access to a terrace, with stairs to the garden. Only the attic room has air conditioning, as the house is pleasantly fresh even in summer. There is a little room with a dishwasher, another fridge and a freezer. Wireless Internet access is available in the house.
It is a ten-minute drive from the house along an unpaved road, and then another ten minutes on a country road to the nearest locality and the nearest beach, with other beaches beyond it. The location of the house is ideal for going on walks to the rocky cliffs.
If the owners are around (in a house nearby), they can pick guests up personally from the boat and are happy to assist with any queries, to ensure you have a pleasant stay. Otherwise guests are welcomed by an acquaintance of the owners.
