Cascina Bricchetto Langhe, a hamlet of traditional Le Langhe stone farmhouses, can be found at Trezzo Tinella (Cn) about 10 Km from Alba and 3 km Barbaresco. The views are extraordinary; a sequence of hills overlooked by Monviso and the Monte Rosa massif.
The farmhouse, probably the oldest in the area, is situated at an altitude of 550m at the top of a peaceful remote hill surrounded by vineyards and hazelnut groves as far as the eye can see. The houses has recently been renovated to a very high luxury standard maintaining many original features and using natural and local materials. They are furnished with both antique and modern furniture and have the advantage that being built in stone which are warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
Enjoy the beauty of the ancient (vaulted brick ceilings, antique furniture in precious woods) joined to the efficiency of household appliances, enjoy the pleasure of a hot bath or shower at the right point and fragrant, live in the landscape that comes from the numerous and large windows to enjoy burning sunsets on the balconies or terraces covered by drinking a glass of our beautiful wines.
The luxury house.
On the ground floor there is a small entrance hall leading to a very spacious open plan kitchen/ living room /dining room with comfortable sofas and a cosy split level area close to the working fireplace. The kitchen is very well equipped for the amateur or gourmet chef. There is also one bathroom with a shower.
On the first floor reached by a beautiful wooden staircase there are two further oak floored double bedrooms and a bathroom with a bath. The bathrooms are supplied with soap, shampoo and hairdryer.
Balcony with a splendid view of the surrounding hills and the Alps dominated by Monviso.
Are available: cot, high chair, baby bath, baby food set, bottle warmer, thermal bottle, 2 additional beds.
Living in an old stone farmhouse means of keeping cool in the summer and warmth in winter, the beauty and warmth of a wood fire that heats the radiators perhaps supplemented by a few hours of gas heating.
Experience the silence broken only by birds and some agricultural vehicle, rediscover the joy of the voices of children playing.

In the grounds of Cascina Bricchetto you will find a covered area for eating al fresco, a covered parking area and various toys for the children e.g. swings, sandpit, rocking horse, skittles. From the house you can take many quiet country walks along the small country lanes.
Your host also lives in the hamlet and on request will supply in your accommodation a delicious breakfast consisting of homemade cakes and jams prepared using old and genuine recipes.
The cost does not include: the tourist tax of 1.5 euros per night / person excluding children up to 10 years, sanitation and final cleaning 150 euros, extra bed 50 euros/night, gas & heating, consumption is detected by a specific meter and paid at cost, currently 7 euros per cubic meter.
To see
Only a few kilometers away you can discover the historical towns of Asti (renowned for the September Palio), Alba (a medieval town full of towers and arcades, famous for the truffle fairs in October), Bra (home to the Slow Food movement) and Cherasco; not forgetting the various wine castles of Barolo, Grinzane Cavour, Magliano Alfieri, Govone etc.
The beautiful city of Turin, which is full of museums, ancient buildings and historic cafes, is located about 70 km away and can be reached by train from the railway station of Asti.
The sea and the coast of Liguria are about 100 km.

Luxury breakfast, visits/tasting to the wineries (Barbaresco, Barolo, Barbera, Dolcetto ...), hike with a naturalist guide to discover landscapes and native flora, visit/tasting to the small dairy and salami producer, truffle hunting done by dogs with their trainer, visit and a wine tasting at "the wine Bank", cooking class, visits to castles, food and wine tours and much more that I will suggest if desired to each guest.

gas Gpl that will be calculated using the heating meter, Euro 7,5 for meter cubic; wood logs can be used in the fireplace, the cost of each supply of firewood is 45 Euro.
