Villa Solidea is located in the green Tuscan-Umbrian countryside, a short distance from Lake Trasimeno, Montepulciano and Cortona. The villa, with a modern layout and clad in bricks and plaster, is surrounded by about half a hectare of completely-fenced garden. The airy and well-lit rooms, furnished with fine handcrafted furniture, are the ideal setting for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The living room and the spacious kitchen on the ground floor face onto the back portico equipped with table, hammock and armchairs. Guests can enjoy the entire park, enlivened by luxuriant plants, thanks to the numerous living areas that have been set up, such as the beautiful swimming pool in a central position, the children's play area, various seating areas, the barbecue area with wood oven and an amazing veranda with opening glass walls that contains a kitchen and a large wooden table. Villa Solidea is the perfect solution for those seeking tranquility in the setting of one of the most beloved landscapes in the world, in the heart of “Etruscan Tuscany” with perfectly preserved towns and landscapes of the Middle Ages and Italian Renaissance; an excellent starting point for fascinating destinations such as Siena and the Val d’Orcia, Perugia and Assisi. Those looking for total relaxation can visit some of the most famous spas in Tuscany: San Casciano dei Bagni, Chianciano, Rapolano and Bagno Vignoni. The proximity to the Chiusi railway station and the high-speed line will allow you to get quickly and easily to Florence and Rome, perhaps even for just a day. Services, restaurants and supermarkets can be found in Camucia and Castiglione del Lago, about 10 minutes away by car.
Interior:
Villa Solidea has two floors connected by an internal staircase. The main entrance on the ground floor leads to a living room, composed of a seating area and a dining area, next to the spacious kitchen facing the portico. On this floor is a double bedroom, a bathroom with whirlpool tub and a suite composed of a double bedroom and a room with a single bed sharing a bathroom with shower. A spiral staircase leads up to the first floor consisting of a double bedroom, a twin bedroom (with sloping roof – minimum height 130 cm near the headboards of the bed), a bathroom with shower and a panoramic veranda with gym equipment. Air Conditioning only in the bedrooms.
Park:
The park of Villa Solidea is completely fenced and extends for about half a hectare between lawn and paving. The garden, bordered along the entire perimeter by hedges, and enriched with plants and flowers, surrounds the villa and contains a fully-equipped portico at the kitchen exit, a play area for children and multiple seating areas. Next to the pool area is a spacious glassed-in veranda containing a well-equipped kitchen and a dining table; adjacent is a brick structure with barbecue and wood oven. Past the pedestrian and vehicle automatic entrance gate is the parking area shaded by a pergola.Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.
Swimming Pool:
The completely-fenced pool area, surrounded by the green of the level garden, is located at the back of the villa which is about 20 metres away. The rectangular pool, measuring 6 x 12 m with the depth varying from 1.20 to 2.30 m, is lined in PVC and has salt purification, internal spotlights and Roman steps for access to the water. There is a solar shower. The stone border of the pool extends along the sides and is equipped with sunbeds, umbrellas and a shaded wooden seating area. The pool is available from the last Saturday of April to the first Saturday of October.
Pets: Yes. € 50,00 per animal per week. Acceptance of animals to the facility must be previously authorised by the owner upon communication of the number of animals, size and breed.
