In the heart of a large farm of 12 hectares of land, planted with woods, vineyards, and olive groves; Villa La Prateria is an oasis of peace ready to welcome you and open the doors of an ancient rural complex completely restored respecting the Umbrian tradition, the green heart region of Italy that houses this charming residence where everything has the flavor of conviviality.
Halfway between Perugia and Orvieto, and not far from the great cities of art and the small medieval villages that surround the area, the old stone farmhouse from which this home originates, is capable of offering hospitality to about twenty people between various accommodations: 6 double bedrooms, 2 single beds, 3 sofa beds, 4 additional beds. All accommodations have a private bathroom.
Lots of outdoor space at your disposal, where you can rest and sunbathe or where you can enjoy beautiful walks in contact with nature. Vegetable and chicken coop products are also available, with organic vegetables and fresh eggs practically all year round. Outside there is also a beautiful swimming pool, overlooking the Umbrian hills, which opens onto a large green lawn with parasols and deck chairs. Enjoy also the pergola with a small library or the large raised terrace with a wood oven and barbecue for the picnic. The property also boasts an old barn that has been transformed into an interesting multipurpose facility capable of hosting rooms for yoga, play or relaxation, and conviviality. Outside there is also a volleyball court, nearby there are tennis courts and a riding stable.
The internal rooms with fireplace, the stone walls, the details of the exposed electrical system, and the kitchen with the old sink in grit, the old majolica tiles, and many other references to the past are also large. For unforgettable dinners in the moonlight, you can easily sit outside.
In the sleeping area, with brightly colored walls, four-poster beds, terracotta floors, wooden beams on the ceilings, walnut writing desks, painted wrought iron headboards, and bathroom furniture made by the skilled hands of the Umbrian artisans, will make you find the dreamy atmosphere that inspired the tales of a thousand and one nights, that began with "Once upon a time …".
Close to Villa La Prateria, visit the Concordia theater, the smallest theater in the world, or the cities of Assisi, Cascia, Spoleto, Foligno, Trevi, Gubbio, Todi, Orvieto or Deruta.
