Summary: This was a very unique stay … in an authentic palace! Staff treat you like royalty. Superior room was a large living room suite with additional bedroom! Excellent and plentiful breakfast every morning. Easy to walk to cafes, restaurants and shops and Villa de Este and Villa Gregoriane. City bus to Villa Ariana. Hotel also arranged my transfer back to airport in Rome with Marco a professional driver. Perfect!

Summary: This hotel is truly a dream come true! It’s not run by a big chain like Marriott or Hilton, but by a warm and welcoming local family in Tivoli. The location is perfect—just a short walk from the city center, Villa d’Este, and Villa Gregoriana.
As you enter through an authentic door into a charming courtyard, you immediately feel the magic. My room was absolutely stunning—like stepping into a Renaissance mansion. It had a grand entry room and a beautiful palace-style bedroom, complete with vintage furniture, hand-written manuscripts, old books, intricate wall decorations, and countless thoughtful details that words can't fully capture. I’ve shared a video of my room—definitely check it out!
And the breakfast? An absolute masterpiece! Served on silver and porcelain, it was both a visual and culinary delight.
The family running the hotel are incredibly kind and attentive—they truly make the whole experience unforgettable. Next time, I plan to spend an entire day just enjoying the hotel itself.

Summary: This former palace is absolutely incredible! It's like walking back in time. The Superior Room is the most splendid hotel room I've ever stayed in. The staff and the owner were there to greet us and we enjoyed learning more about Tivoli and the property over a cocktail in the evening. Also, the underground swimming pool is such a treat on a hot Italian day. We will be back for sure! This is definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience. In addition, we loved Tivoli and would highly recommend staying two or three nights. It's much more quaint than Rome and the three main sites provide plenty to do. Plus there are some incredible restaurants walking distance from the hotel.
