Located on the slopes of Mount Etna in eastern Sicily, Villa Palla is a lovely villa with a private pool and beautiful views over the countryside and sea. Built in 1791 and used as a wine press until a few years ago, the villa is perfect for a relaxing holiday with family or friends. It is within a short driving distance of shops and restaurants and close to the villages of Pedara and Trecastagni. The villa is also a great starting point for visiting Mount Etna, the small villages on its slopes and the historic towns of Catania, Taormina and Syracuse.
This 300 square metre split level villa develops over 2 levels.
The ground floor is composed of an open plan living space which is laid out on three levels. You will find two fireplaces, a lounge/dining area (with sofas, dining table and chairs), an area with a billiard table, a small sitting area and a well-equipped kitchen (with table & chairs). In the sleeping area you will find one double bedroom (with double bed and terrace) with en-suite bathroom (with shower) and one double bedroom (with double bed and access to the garden) with en-suite bathroom (with shower).
On the first floor you will find two double bedrooms (with double beds) with en-suite bathrooms (with shower).
Outside, you will find a lovely 3,000 square metre garden with well-equipped terraces, a private swimming pool (4 m x 10m; depth 1.3 m; open from 01/04 – 31/10; depuration salt), sun terrace (with sun loungers) and outside dining area (with table and chairs).
