San Terenzo is a small and delightful medieval village located on the coast of the Gulf of Poets. It is surrounded by hills covered by rich Mediterranean vegetation. A fortress overlooking the town was built by its inhabitants in the late Middle Ages. From here starts a fantastic 2 km waterfront promenade to Lerici called Da Castello A Castello with a breathtaking view of the Gulf, Portovenere and Palmaria island. A stone's throw from the palace is the famous Villa Magni which in 800 hosted the poet Shelley and his circle of artists. From Lerici ferries leave for Portovenere, 5 Terre and Portofino. The sandy beach in San Terenzo has two spaces: free and equipped. Other beaches and bathing establishments nearby: Baia Blu, Colombo, Venere Azzurra, Lido di Lerici, Eco del Mare, Ciccillo a mare and Fiascherino.
