Summary: Hotel is small and in an odd position, enclosed courtyard off a side street, but we found it. No air-con, though vents are fitted, and we didn't need it in Dec, but what we got was a continual whirring sound all day and all night. At times quieter than others, but constant. Room keycard unit was installed, but we had a good old fashioned key. Seemed a bit odd. Shower enclosure was grubby when you looked close, it needed a deep clean. Two lots of shampoo in wall mounted bottles, no shower gel. Behind the TV was dust bowl central. Room was serviced, but cups weren't cleaned/replaced and left dirty from that morning. I think we overpaid a bit at €165 per night, but location is good, and if you're gluten free, there's an amazing bakery 100 steps away and we went half a dozen times; it was a Godsend. Reception staff were polite and nice enough.
