Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location of the apartment is superb, and the large terrace with views across the plains is difficult to drag yourself away from. Sermoneta is delightful and it was good to have the place to ourselves when all the day trippers had gone home. Marco was always quick to respond to any enquiry and seemed eager to ensure everything was okay.

Negative: The quality of the beds is poor. We had to stuff a small towel between the headboard and the wall to stop the constant rattling every time we moved. The accommodation is poorly equipped e.g just 2 wine glasses, no tea towel in the kitchen, no cloths to wipe surfaces, just one scourer. The toiletries supplied are of the cheap, brown paper sachet variety; there was inadequate toilet paper, and the bathroom towels are cheap. There are 3 showers but 1 is inaccessible and another needs a new shower head. The swimming pool is a 10-minute drive away and was closed until later in the season.

Summary: We enjoyed staying at Le Camere Pinta but with a little investment it could have been so much better
