Summary: The property is well maintained and staff were friendly and helpful. It’s an older property though and that was clear in some areas like the stairs up to our second floor room, room design and fixtures, traditional room keys (and only one) and the poor AC performance. The room was spacious but bare. Even with the dual sided closet there were only two drawers plus a one drawer nightstand on each side of the bed. Beyond that, there was one luggage rack and a very dated sofa type chair. We just reorganized our luggage and lived out of our suitcases after hanging as much as possible. The bathroom was large, which was nice. The AC really underperformed and also was partially covered by a curtain which I folded out of the way. We luckily got a fan for our room which made all the difference. All in all, it was clean and again, the staff were friendly - especially the bellhops and breakfast team. It gave an authentic Italian island vibe, which was nice for our getaway. I’m not sure if I’d go back to this hotel, but all in all it was a good stay.
