Positive: Excellent room in a house a bit from Messina Centre. Kitchen facilities were excellent (fridge, freezer, cooker etc.), with a shared bathroom for the three rooms also being excellent, and with quite a stylish decor. Parking available both at the house (though can fit only one car and one motorcycle), with further parking in front of or just a bit down the road in free car parking spaces. Owner is very friendly and helpful.

Negative: The driveway *is* a bit steep (as noted by another reviewer), so would have preferred a bit more of a curve when it goes from the slope to the flat bit, but nothing major. Not within walking distance of the centre, so very much for those with their own transportation. Except for these two things, would have rated a 10/10.

Summary: Excellent room for a short stay, not far from Messina centre - own transportation recommended
