This beautiful holiday home in Tuscany is located at Casale, a tiny medieval village in the heart of the Tuscan Apennines, surrounded by forests and uncontaminated nature, with a wonderful scenic view over the valley.
This lovely holiday accommodation has recently been tastefully renovated and consists of a semi-detached villa with independent entrance (70 sq.m) and a charming annexe (25sq.m).
The villa is on two floors and can comfortably accommodate 4 people. On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, a living room with 2 sofas, a fireplace and satellite TV; on the first floor there are 2 double bedrooms, which can be turned into twin bedrooms on request, and a bathroom fitted with shower. The annexe, for 2 people, consists of a living room with dining area and fully equipped kitchenette, a double bedroom and a bathroom fitted with shower. Outside, the fenced garden offers a relaxing haven with its sun loungers and outdoor hot tub (3x3 meter), whereas the furnished veranda and barbecue present an ideal location for al fresco dining. Car park available both inside and outside the property.
This holiday accommodation in Mugello is at 3 km from the nearest food shop and restaurant, in San Godenzo, a medieval town founded in 1028, and 13 km from the town of Dicomano, where one can find supermarkets, shops, banks and a railway station from which one can catch a direct train to the centre of Florence (a 30 minute trip). Also ideal for a relaxing holiday immersed in nature being right next to the National Park of the Casentino Forests, near the Chianti Rufina region and under the shade of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines. Here one can enjoy wonderful landscapes, visit medieval villages, go hiking on mountain trails and savour the typical dishes and wines of both Chianti and Mugello. For art lovers Giotto’s hometown Vespignano, a hamlet of Vicchio, is at 20 km, whereas Florence is at 52 km.
