Varenna, known as the Diamante del Lago, has many restaurants, as well as bars by the lake shore, where you can enjoy an aperitif and admire the beautiful view. In the winter months, you can access the ski resorts in less than two hours, such as Bormio, St. Moritz and Madesimo, to name a few.
