Summary: Found this place during a road trip through southern Italy. Stayed only one night, but would have been happy to stay longer. Simple and small accommodation, but come for the setting, the views, and the mouth-watering homemade Italian fare and house wine. Delightful and helpful staff.

Summary: We really enjoyed the views in the area. Also the staff really tried hard to communicate with us even though we don't speak Italian.

Summary: Casa Scola was a lovely place to relax and eat good food. We had lovely dinners there both nights of our stay, and the included breakfast was great. We went for a stroll around the property and that was lovely as well. Overall, it was a wonderful place to decompress.
Google Maps tries to get you to come up the southwest road, in the back entrance - would definitely recommend you come in through the front gates/northeast road through town. The southwest road is cobbled, steep, and has very tight switchbacks!

Summary: Everything was great. Awesome customer service, nice clean place with breathtaking view and good breakfast. It is a little nerve wrecking getting up the very steep and narrow mountain road and we didn't sleep much because the on site rooster started crowing at 5:45am.

Summary: We had a short break of three nights in April ‘22. The place is lovely, the staff friendly and welcoming. We arrived late at night as our flight got in at 10pm, they were very helpful and stayed up to let us into our room.
They don’t speak any English, but we always found a way to make ourselves understood.
The room was a good size, with a view across the Bay of Naples and of Vesuvius. You had to put your head out of the window to see it all, but it was there.
The room was clean, and cleaned daily. It’s not a 4* hotel, and the furnishings are older and basic. But it had everything we needed.
Breakfast was good with fresh juice, warm croissants and tea/coffee.
The road up to Casa Scola is very Italian! A winding, narrow, cobbled road with some tight hairpin bends. Made a little more challenging by the occasional Fiat Panda parked in a tight spot! But if you drive with care (and it helps if your car has lots of parking sensors!) it is doable. The view from the top is definitely worth it.
