Il Giardino is our individually designed 55sqm apartment with a living room / kitchen, bedroom and an extra bed where larger children or individuals can stay, a small retreat in the olive grove. The house is in the garden with a living room with double bed. From there you get into the 2 bedrooms with double bed and a single bed. Through the large patio doors in the living room and bedroom you can look directly into the beautiful landscape and the direct connection to the garden is very nice. The sandpit for the little ones can be seen from the outside dining area. Sun beds and hammocks are available. In front of the door there is a dining table with chairs and benches.
In the garden a staircase leads to the olive grove, where we have placed one of our self-made "Waegelchen", another room for retreat, with a small terrace in front of the door, with another bed and a small library.
La Luna nell'Orto
In spring 2007 we bought and rebuilt this typical farmhouse with 4.5 hectares of land and converted the land biodynamically. The house 'La Luna nell' Orto '(the moon in the vegetable garden) and the holiday apartments have been restored ecologically (including Photovoltaic + solar system) and thus offer a particularly pleasant living atmosphere. The large garden with flowers and herbs offers plenty of space for children and adults and the beautiful view of the hills is breathtaking. You are welcome to enjoy our farm products and shop in the farm shop. You will find a quiet place with plenty of space for relaxation, just a short walk will take you to our natural swimming pool, where you can swim wonderfully and watch dragonflies, newts, frogs and salamanders. Culture and enjoyment for good food and the beautiful surroundings are given. We are also happy to prepare dinner together on request, by candlelight and good wine from our own production.
During your stay, you are welcome to buy our farm products and also pick vegetables from the garden yourself.
Art and Dress - Textiles by Petra Bartels: You are welcome to have a beautiful dress made by me or you will find a tablecloth, a felt carpet or a picture. I have been working artistically for many years and use only natural materials, preferably from ecological production.
You are also welcome to book a felting course or creative lessons for you and / or your children.
Creative courses, workshops, seminars: We are happy to organize an artistic course together with small groups and course instructors. The place is particularly suitable for painting, yoga, music (since piano is available), writing ....
I offer artistic-handicraft courses in my studio. (Felting, your own dress ....)
In 2015 we sold the large farmhouse to a friend of our family and have had immediate neighbors since then.
