Positive: Dimora Berchiatti is easily the best place I’ve stayed at in Italy for many reasons: First of all, the hosts: Alberto and his father Franco - could not have been more welcoming, kind, thoughtful and generous. We were greeted at the door, permitted an early check in, assisted with our luggage, and shown all the details of the space, which included well organized packets of local suggestions and maps. They respected our space while also being mindful of our needs and comfort, appropriately checking in on us. They promptly provided an additional requested towel and also sent up and extra blanket because the temperature had dropped. Even though they have some renovation projects happening, they offered to adjust the schedule of the workers to accommodate us if it was bothersome, which it was not at all. Knowing we were celebrating a birthday, Franco even sent up a lovely bottle of wine with a sweet card 🥰 The property: The large and spacious apartment presented tastefully elegant vintage Italian decor with care down to the smallest details. It was very clean and bright with large windows and doors that easily opened for fresh air and sun and closed for night time darkness and privacy. On the second floor, doors in each room opened to the wrap around terrace which overlooks a beautiful lush garden view. The beds were perfectly firm with great pillows. The combined kitchen and salon were well stocked with updated appliances. I’m a stickler for clean, functional bathrooms and the two included looked and felt like they could’ve been my own! I even enjoyed a wonderful bath ☺️ The location: It is perfectly situated in a sweet, quaint village within easy walking distance to a cafè, restaurants, small shops and an ATM. Parking was free and very nearby on the street with no problem finding a space. You can apparently find a bus to Turin as well. We rented a car and enjoyed scenic drives into the alps, the countryside and the cities all reachable in under one hour.

Negative: Niente. Nothing.
