Summary: We had an amazing 3-night stay at Angiolina Relais and honestly did not want to leave. We were in the heart of Sorrento, but because we were up the hill, set back a little in a more residential area (although other hotels are around), it felt like a proper retreat. We felt it the moment we walked in: there is a walk down a small lane from where the cars can drop off, then a private gate and another lovely short path to reach the reception area. Each room faces the outside, we had lemon and orange trees right outside and could hear the birds every morning at breakfast. The service is incredible and the front-desk staff will try to help with any query in person or via the whatsapp chat they give you. We were chatting with another guest during our stay, at breakfast, and she felt exactly the same. If, like us, you plan a full itinerary in Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi Coast, you will welcome the peace and respite you get when you go back to your room at the end of each busy day. The beds are very comfortable, the AC works a treat and is very quiet. The rooms are simply furnished with everything you need and spacious. In terms of location and amenities, there is a cafe and several convenience stores on the main road about 3 min walk from the hotel, and it's a 15-min walk into the old town for restaurants, shopping and the beach front. Probably a 20-25 min walk to the pier for the ferries.

Summary: This was a beautiful little hotel nestled beside a Lemon grove and smelling of blossom and wisteria, yet not too far to the centre of the old town, shops and restaurants. Staff were very friendly, communicative and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and the bed perfect. Lovely little terraces outside the rooms are a welcome addition to have a morning or evening coffee or sit and have a read. Everything you could need was supplied, the shower was powerful and breakfasts perfect.
