Villa Laurentia, part of the large family estate of Tenuta Santa Cristina, is situated in the heart of the enchanting Sabina Region. 50 km north east of Rome and untouched by mass tourism, this territory is still authentic and unspoilt. Its landscape of gentle hills, is scattered with Roman villas, medieval castles, churches and abbeys. The villa is also in a perfect position for sightseeing Rome and day trip to Umbria and Tuscany.
The villa is immersed in its own private garden and is situated on the cusp of a hill with wonderful views of the surrounding countryside, where a notable red wine is produced as well as a formidable extra virgin olive oil.
Villa Laurentia has a
private swimming pool (12 x 5 m; 1,20 1,40 m/depth), located within its own garden which has beautiful views of the estate. The villa has a huge private pergola and a barbeque area. The patio, with wooden table and chairs seating 8 people, is perfect for al fresco dining.
Available free of charge to our guests, there are a beautiful
tennis court and
five a side football pitch with artificial turf, a table tennis and basketball hoop.
Villa Laurentia is also
fully wheelchair accessible and fitted to host guests with disabilities.
Our key holder Mrs. Daniela (+ 393381822211) will await for our guests at the entrance of the villa for check in and for all the necessary information during your stay. Check in instructions (after 4 pm): Having passed the Magliano Sabina toll gate, please call the owner Laurentia (+39 335251099) or the key holder Daniela (+39 3381822211) to wait you in front of the gate and check in. Check out instructions (within 10 am): Once you finish your stay, please leave the keys on the table at the entrance.
Cost of heating during Autumn / Winter: 30/day The pool is open from June to September (except special agreement with the owner).
Rate includes: linens, bath towels, pool towels(weekly change for stays longer than one week); electricity and gas; use of the private tennis court, five a side football pitch and table tennis (rackets and balls included); final cleaning; free wi fi. Rate does not include: heating ( 30/day), daily cleaning. Check in time: from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The exact arrival time must however be advised at least 1 day in advance of arrival. Villa Laurentia is nestled amongst the rolling undulating hills of the Lathium, land of the Etruscans, the Ancient Romans and many Popes. The property enjoys a fine position overlooking its very own vineyard and the surrounding countryside of Lathium and Umbria. Rome awaits you just to the south (72 km 45M) with its enormous historical and cultural heritage revealing archaeological sites, splendid renaissance and baroque palaces and of course the Vatican City, Sovereign Seat of the Pope and home to the largest collection of art and antiquities in the world.The world of Etruscans is also nearby to the west at Viterbo(50 km 31M), Vulci(100 km 62M), Cerveteri and Tuscania (70 km 43M) with its interesting Etruscan tombs, One may also embark on a pilgrimage tracing the footsteps of St.Francis of Assisi which starts at Rieti (51 km 31M). The magnificent Florence is at 210 km (131M).
Magliano Sabina is easy to get from both north and south of Italy and from Rome Fiumicino or Rome Ciampino Airports. Several trains during the day leave from the main railway stations of Rome to Magliano Sabina Railway Station.
